Peter Burton BSc, MSc, C.Eng, MIET, MBCS, F.InstD, FRSA

Peter Burton is an executive coach and consultant, working with directors and senior executives in private and public sectors. His interests include helping clients to create an ‘engagement culture’, and align their management teams with the strategy. His managerial background is in technology and radio stations. He founded two companies which he took public. He served as CEO, chairman, or non-executive director of these and other listed companies and SMEs. He served 12 years as an elected member of a District Council until 1999, and is a former school and university governor, and parliamentary candidate.

He is a chartered engineer and has a master's degree in Organisational Behaviour, and postgraduate qualifications in coaching and coaching psychology. His master's dissertation (1994) concerned the influencing tactics of directors. He completed the Harvard Business School OPM Program in 1994.
